Product Description.:

Reusable. Ace Bandage Wrap conveniently holds gel-pack in place. Microwavable. Cold: Relieves pain and reduces swelling. Heat: Promotes healing ideal for arthritis and muscle aches. Provides both hot and cold therapy comfortably and conveniently. Application of cold and compression is medically recommended first-aid therapy during the first 72 hours following most sprain and strain injuries. Cold and compression help to reduce swelling and relieve pain. Once swelling has subsided, the application of heat will help reduce pain and promote healing. Heat therapy is recommended for treating muscle aches, stiffness, tension and cramps. The Ace Brand Hot & cold Compression Wrap provides this therapy in a convenient reusable from. The elastic wrap provides compression and conveniently holds the gel-pack in place. Made in USA.

Directions
Hot: 1. Ensure gel-pack is inserted into bandage pocket. 2. Place flat in microwave oven. Heat at full power. (see schedule for heating requirements). 3. Remove from microwave oven and knead for one minute to distribute heat evenly (temperature will continue to rise slightly). 4. Check for desired temperature by holding against inside of forearm. If too hot, allow to cool. 5. Carefully wrap the bandage around injured area, taking care not to wrap too tightly. Secure with Velcro fastener. 6. Store at room temperature. COLD 1. For first time use, place flat in freezer for at least 2 hours with gel-pack inside bandage pocket. 2. Remove from freezer, apply to desired area. Carefully wrap the bandage around injured area, taking care not to wrap too tightly. Secure with Velcro fastener. 3. Keep in place for at least 25 minutes (refer to insert for R.I.C.E. therapy). 4. Can be stored in freezer for immediate use. CARE: Remove gel-pack, wash bandage in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. As with any fine fabric, keep away from heat. Warnings
People with nerve or circulatory problems should not use this product unless prescribed by a physician. Do not apply heat to broken and/or sensitive skin. Heat should not be used with external analgesic products. Do not apply compress without placing gel-pack inside bandage. Do not exceed heating time specified in heating schedule. Do not sit or lean on compress. Excessive heating or weight may cause gel-pack to rupture and leak. If condition persists, consult you physician. Cold compress therapy should not be used by individuals with known or suspected circulation problems, unless under the direct supervision of a physician.
