In order to obtain an accurate measurement, please read the instruction manual carefully before using. This thermometer is designed to take a temperature through the ear canal. DO NOT use it to take rectal, oral, or underarm temperature. Keep this device out of the reach of children. Do not self-diagnose your condition using the measured result. Consult your doctor if your temperature is overly higher or lower than the normal temperature. Do not use the ear thermometer if there is blood or drainage in the external ear canal. Do not use the ear thermometer in an infected ear. Do not force the thermometer tip into the ear canal.
Directions
1. Press and hold the SCAN button for one second. Wait for the last measurement taken and the Ready symbol to appear (thermometer will beep when ready). 2. Press and hold the SCAN button. Insert thermometer tip gently into the ear. 3. Release the SCAN button and wait for the beep. Remove thermometer from ear canal. The temperature is displayed.
