Product Description.:

USES: This medication is used to treat acne.

HOW TO USE: Shake well before using. Apply a thin layer to the affected area of the skin, generally twice daily, as directed. Use only on the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes.

SIDE EFFECTS: Irritation, stinging or burning of the skin may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly: severe redness or scaling of the skin, muscle or joint aches. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, unusual tiredness, yellowing of the skin or eyes, stomach pain, nausea, persistent fever, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, allergies (especially to other sulfa drugs such as sulfamethoxazole or to sulfites). Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., affecting the skin). Consult your doctor or pharmacist. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other drugs you apply to the skin for your condition. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222.
