The Senokot Laxative Comfort Promise - Senokot Laxatives use only the deseeded pod of the senna plant which contains no harsh impurities (no stems, leaves or seeds) which can cause intestinal distress. For your comfort, the active ingredient in Senokot Laxatives is always Purified Senna. Taken at bedtime, Senokot Tablets work gently overnight to induce a comfortable evacuation in the morning. Senokot Tablets" dosage can be adjusted to meet one's individual requirements. If comfortable bowel movement is not achieved by the second day, the recommended dose should be increased by one tablet, not exceeding the maximum dosage, or decreased until the most effective dose is established.
Directions:Adults and children 12 years of age and over: start with 2 tablets once a day, and 4 tablets twice a day for maximum strength. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: Start with 1 tablet a day, and 2 tablets a day for maximum strength. Children 2 to under 6 years of age: 1/2 tablet once a day, and 1 tablet twice a day for maximum strength. Children under 2 years of age, consult a physician.

Warnings:Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel movements that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor.
