For moist heat therapy:
Place product in a clean microwave oven. We suggest placing the product on a clean dinner plate rather than directly on the microwave shelf
Microwave ovens vary. Begin by heating 1 minute 30 seconds. Remove the product from the microwave and touch test
If additional heat is required, place the unit in the microwave for 15 seconds. This can be repeated as necessary to achieve desired temperature
Do not exceed 2 minutes 30 seconds in total
If it is necessary to fold your MediBeads product to fit in the microwave, fold it loosely. Half way through the heating cycle, remove it and reverse the fold. Continue heating the remaining time
If your product is used for 3 to 4 times continuously, a decrease in moisture output may occur. Simply let the pad rest 2 to 3 hours and it will be ready to use again
To reheat a recently used MediBeads product, reduce the initial heating time to by half. Remove from the microwave and touch test
If additional heat is required, microwave for 15 seconds
Remove, test and repeat the 15 second cycle until the desired heat is achieved
For soothing cold: Store in the freezer for approximately 2 hours. Care instructions:
Wash product if it is exposed to cream, oils, grease or food
Wait at least 2 hours after use to wash
Hand wash or surface clean with mild soap and cold water
Allow to dry for 24 hours before reuse
Do not use warm or hot water
Do not machine wash
