Docusate Sodium USP 100 mg. Trusted for guaranteed relief. Gentle and easy. Dulcolax Stool Softener contains the No. 1 doctor recommended stool softening ingredient. It works gently by drawing water into the stool in order to prevent dry hard stools and make passage more comfortable. Many people find two liquid gels an effective starting dosage and then one liquid gel for maintenance. Each liquid gel contains: Sodium (5 mg).

To Top Active Ingredient (in each Liquid Gel): Docusate Sodium USP (100 mg). Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Gelatin, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sorbitol Special.

To Top Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: Take 1 to 3 softgels daily. Children 2 to Under 12 Years: Take 1 softgel daily. Children Under 2 Years: Ask a doctor. Store at 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F). Protect from excessive moisture.

Indications / Uses:
To Top Temporary relief of occasional constipation. This product generally produces bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours.

To Top Do not use if abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present. Ask a doctor before use if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks are presently taking mineral oil. Stop use and ask a doctor if rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement occur after use, which may indicate a serious condition you need to use a laxative for more than 1 week. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
