5% Topical Anesthetic Cream.
AneCream is a topical cream that contains 5% lidocaine. The lidocaine in AneCream can relieve pain caused by minor cuts, burns, scrapes, abrasions and skin irritations, sunburn and insect bites. AneCream is available over-the-counter. It is also ideal for use prior to cosmetic procedures like laser hair removal, waxing and injections.


Lidocaine causes a temporary loss of feeling in the skin and surrounding tissues. Following AneCream application you may notice a slight cooling sensation, followed by an increased feeling of numbness in areas where applied.
# lidocaine and can be used to relieve pain caused by minor cuts, minor burns, abrasions, sunburn, and insect bites. Lidocaine preparations are also commonly used by physicians and other health care professionals to numb the skin prior to performing minor surgery, insertion of IV lines, obtaining blood specimens, and other such procedures. L.M.X.4 should only be used externally. Do not put L.M.X.4 in your mouth, nose or inside the ear. Be careful not to get any in your eyes.

Ingredients:
Active Ingredients:
Lidocaine 4% w/w.

Inactive Ingredients:
Benzyl Alcohol, Carbomer 940, Cholesterol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polysorbate 80, Propylene Glycol, Trolamine, Vitamin E Acetate, Water.

Directions:
Adults and children 2 years and older: Apply externally to the affected area up to 3 to 4 times a day.
Children under 2 years of age: Consult a doctor.
May be applied under occlusive dressing.

Warnings:
For external use only.
When using this product:
Do not use in or near the eyes
Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
Allergic reaction occurs
Condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days
Symptoms clear up and return within a few days
Redness, irritation, swelling, pain or other symptoms being to increase
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
