Helps PREVENT TARTAR build-up above the gumline between dental visits. Provides clinically proven effective tartar prevention. Contains Fluoristat for effective cavity prevention. Is gentle on tooth enamel, leaves teeth clean and smooth. Tartar is an unsightly mineral build-up. Once formed it can only be removed by dental cleaning. After dental cleaning, tartar starts to build up again. But brush twice a day with...Crest Tartar Protection. Its PATENTED TARTAR BLOCKERS help stop new tartar build-up before it forms. Crest Tartar Protection has been shown to be an effective decay-preventive dentifrice that can be of significant value when used as directed in a conscientiously applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care. It has been shown to reduce the formation of tartar above the gumline, but has not been shown to have a therapeutic effect on periodontal diseases. This product contains no sugar, like all ADA accepted toothpastes.

Directions:
Adults and children 2 years and older: Brush teeth thoroughly after meals or at least twice a day or use as directed by a dentist or physician. Do not swallow. Children under 6 years: To minimize swallowing use a pea-sized amount and supervise brushing until good habits are established. Children under 2 years: Ask a dentist or physician. For best results: Start with a professional cleaning. Brush regularly to help prevent the return of ugly tartar build-up above the gumline. Use dental floss. Have regular professional cleanings to remove tartar build-up.

Helps protect against cavities.

Warnings:
Keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.
