Get Started With EDARBI
When it comes to high blood pressure, many people need medication to help work toward the healthier blood pressure goal that their doctor has set.
EDARBI lowers blood pressure more than two of the most commonly prescribed brands of ARB blood pressure medicine called Diovan? (valsartan) and Benicar? (olmesartan medoxomil). As part of a clinical study where systolic blood pressure was measured over 24 hours, EDARBI (80 mg) lowered blood pressure by 15.3 mmHg and Diovan (320 mg) lowered blood pressure by 11.3 mmHg. In a second study, EDARBI (80 mg) lowered blood pressure by 13.2 mmHg and Benicar (40 mg) lowered blood pressure by 11.2 mmHg.
EDARBI is well-tolerated, having been studied in more than 4,800 patients in clinical safety studies. The most common side effect seen with EDARBI was diarrhea.
EDARBI can fit into your schedule, requiring just one pill every 24 hours with or without food.
EDARBI is a type of prescription medicine called an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure in adults. It works by helping blood vessels relax, which can lower your blood pressure. Talk to your doctor to see how EDARBI can work with other medications you may be taking.
By taking EDARBI, you?re taking a step toward managing your high blood pressure.

WARNING: AVOID USE IN PREGNANCY
If you think that you are pregnant, stop taking EDARBI and tell your doctor right away. Taking EDARBI can cause harm and death to your unborn baby.
Taking EDARBI during your second and third trimester can cause harm and death to your unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant, are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed and discuss other ways to lower your blood pressure. It is not known if EDARBI passes into breast milk. You and your doctor should decide if you will take EDARBI or breastfeed. You should not do both.

These may lead to low blood pressure (hypotension) and dizziness. Vomiting or diarrhea or not drinking enough fluids can also lead to low blood pressure. If you feel faint or dizzy, lay down and call your doctor right away.
Tell your doctor about all your medical conditions including kidney problems.
In clinical studies, the most common side effect seen with EDARBI was diarrhea.
