Product Description.:

Drops , clear , clear

USES: This combination medication is used to treat certain bacterial infections of the eye(s) (e.g., conjunctivitis).

HOW TO USE: Place this medication in the affected eye(s) usually every 3 hours or use as directed by your doctor. The number of drops (dosage) depends on your medical condition and response to therapy. To apply eye drops, wash your hands first. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. For best results, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow which may result in a relapse of the infection. If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them before using eye drops. Then tilt your head back, gaze upward, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and instill the prescribed number of drops. Look downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. Do not rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after each use. If you are using another kind of eye medication (e.g., drops or ointments), wait at least five minutes before applying any other medications. Use eye drops before eye ointments, to allow the eye drops to enter the eye.

SIDE EFFECTS: Eye redness, burning, stinging, or itchiness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occurs: swelling in or around the eye, rash around the eyes. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: dizziness, trouble breathing. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., other bacteria or fungal infections). Contact your doctor if your notice any new symptoms or your condition worsens. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: contact lens use, any allergies. Though unlikely with eye drops, this medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. If you notice increased sensitivity to the sun, avoid prolonged sun exposure, use a sunscreen, and wear protective clothing when outdoors. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other eye drops, other antibiotics (oral or eye antibiotics). Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222.
