This combination of vitamins provides vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12 and the active form of folic acid to patients who do not have enough of these vitamins for good health. This vitamin combination may also help treat certain heart and blood vessel diseases by reducing your body's level of a certain substance (homocysteine). High homocysteine levels may be linked to narrowing of the arteries. Lowering homocysteine levels may possibly decrease your risk of heart attack, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease.
