Han's Natural Honey Loquat Syrup is a premium quality Chinese traditional throat soother which can be served by the spoonful or mixed with hot water and taken as a refreshing warm beverage. The recipe is reverently prepared according to an ancient Chinese herbal formula from the Han Dynasty (25 A.D.).
Loquat is the yellow, pear-shaped edible fruit of a tree, Eriobotrya Japonica, native to Asia, now also commonly grown in California.
This wholesome fruit is blended in a raw honey base with licorice, ginger, spearmint and fritillary to produce a pleasant soothing beverage. Kids and adults alike love its flavor.
