Product Description.:

For the relief of occasional constipation.

INDICATIONS:
For the relief of occasional constipation.Surfak, a stool softener, is indicated for the relief of occasional constipation. Unlike some other types of laxatives, Surfak contains no harsh stimulants that can upset your stomach or cause cramps. Instead, Surfak works gently by drawing water into the stool, making it softer and easier to pass. With Surfak you can expect to return to regularity in 12 to 72 hours.

INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients: Each liquigel contains:Docusate Calcium (240 mg).
Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Blue 1, Red 40, Gelatin, Glycerin, Parabens, Sorbitol, Other Ingredients.

DIRECTIONS:
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: One Liqui-Gel by mouth daily for several days or until bowel movements are normal.
For use in children under 12: consult a physician.

WARNINGS:
Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits at persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product .
