The UVSunSense™ wristband is engineered to be used in conjunction with a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher to alert you to potential excessive exposure as you work or play in the sun.

How to use UVSunSense Wristbands

  * Open the package, take out one band, and close the package immediately.
  * Place the band on your wrist, with the color side up.
  * Apply sunscreen over all areas of exposed skin and over the band.
  * When exposed to sunlight, the band immediately turns purple to indicate it has been activated.
  * When the band is no longer purple, it is recommended to reapply sunscreen on your body and on the band.
  * When the words "APPLY SUNSCREEN TO THIS SIDE" are no longer clearly visible, it is reccomended to cover up or get our of the sun.

A partially-used band, when re-exposed to the sun, starts monitoring UV rays from the point it was at when you last took it out of the sunlight. Use only one band a day per person, and then discard it.

Warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure    of unprotected skin to the sun may increase the risk of premature skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin, even if no sunburn occurs. The use of a UV warning wristband combined with limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing, and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of sun exposure. Such protective measures cannot eliminate these risks altogether. Store in a dark place at room temperature.
